You can refer people to Ownly using a personal link. If someone you refer becomes a paying customer, we'll pay you 5% of what they pay for the work we build for them. That is the build itself, however it is paid, including where it is split over several months. It does not include the monthly hosting and support fee, which covers keeping their site running rather than the work you introduced. You don't need to be a customer to take part, and it's free to join.
You earn only when someone you personally referred actually pays for real work. You do not earn anything for sign-ups, enquiries, or for introducing other affiliates. There is no "downline" and nothing to buy. This is a single-tier referral arrangement, not a multi-level scheme.
We pay out by the method you gave us, after the customer's payment has cleared. If you are a customer of ours, you can choose to take what you earn as credit against your own work with us instead of a payment; just tell us and we will hold it against your next invoice. You're self-employed for this purpose and responsible for declaring what you earn to HMRC; we don't deduct tax on your behalf.
Share your link honestly. No spam, no misleading or exaggerated claims about us, and no promising things on our behalf. Where required, make clear you may earn from the referral (e.g. mark posts as an ad). You can't refer yourself or your own business.
Either of us can end this at any time. We may withhold or reverse payouts linked to fraud, refunds, chargebacks, or breaches of these terms. We may update these terms; the version you accepted is recorded against your account.
